I'm Ed Hamel, Principal of Flower Mound Funding. Thank you for stopping in.
For more than 20 years, much of my professional life has involved bringing people and opportunities together. My background includes executive recruiting, corporate finance recruiting, mortgage banking and more than a decade in freight brokerage.
While those are very different businesses, success in each came down to many of the same things: understanding people, asking the right questions, building relationships, communicating clearly and, most importantly, following through and getting things done.
I started Flower Mound Funding with a simple idea: business owners looking for capital should be able to have a straightforward conversation with someone who will listen to what they're trying to accomplish and help point them toward appropriate financing resources.
We all know that not every financing situation has the same answer. A business owner looking to acquire a company may have very different needs from someone purchasing equipment, refinancing debt, expanding a location or simply needing additional working capital.
My role is to understand the situation, help identify potential financing options and, when appropriate, connect the business with lending professionals who may be able to help.
What You Can Expect From Me
Straight answers.
If I believe there's a financing option worth exploring, I'll tell you. If I don't believe I'm the right person to help, I'll tell you that too.
A conversation, not a sales pitch.
I want to understand what you're trying to accomplish before we start talking about solutions.
Responsiveness.
If you call or email Flower Mound Funding, you're not being handed off to a call center. You're dealing directly with me.
The right solution matters more than a particular product.
My objective is to help identify financing that makes sense for the business and the situation—not force every opportunity into the same box.
Why Flower Mound Funding?
I live in Flower Mound, Texas, and wanted the business to reflect something very straightforward and personal. Flower Mound Funding isn't intended to look or operate like a giant financial institution. It's a relationship-driven business.
I work with business owners, their advisors and lending professionals to help bring the right people together. Sometimes that may involve an SBA loan. Other situations may call for conventional financing, equipment financing, working capital, a line of credit, invoice factoring or another solution.
It starts with a conversation.
If you're a business owner looking for financing—or a CPA, banker, attorney or other professional with a client who needs capital—I'd be glad to hear what you're working on.
